How to distinguish the quality of LED full-color display unit boards
LED full-color display screens are composed of basic LED unit boards, not only full-color screens, but also other conventional display screens. If there is a problem with the unit board, it will directly cause the display effect of the entire full-color display screen, and even lead to black screen phenomenon. Therefore, effectively distinguishing the quality of the full-color display screen unit board has become crucial. How to distinguish the quality of LED full-color display unit boards has become a concern for many manufacturers. Friends can consider the following aspects.
1. IC devices
The brand of IC devices is of great importance. In the later stage, we will consider what model and how many ICs we use, whether we use more or less, which will greatly affect the quality of LED unit boards. Even a few LED display manufacturers intentionally reduce the number of IC components or use non-standard sub IC components in the production of unit boards in order to save costs, which is very impractical.
2. LED beads and chips
The quality of LED chips cannot be judged by our naked eyes, and can only be determined through multiple tests over a long period of time. For non regular display screen manufacturers, the product will be powered on before leaving the factory to check whether the display screen can operate normally, but it will not undergo long-term aging testing because it will affect the manufacturer's manpower and material resources. 3. Welding quality
Welding refers to checking whether there are any missing or incorrect components on the surface mount, whether there are burrs or short circuits on the component pins, and whether the solder joints of the direct plug-in are smooth and round, whether the board surface is clean and tidy, and whether there are any virtual or missing solder joints. Also check the insertion flatness of the luminous dot matrix and the consistency of the ink color.
4. LED unit board material
In recent years, many LED unit board manufacturers have adopted cheap flame-retardant paper board materials or single-sided fiberboard as the PCB circuit board for LED lights in order to compete with more customers at low prices. If someone is not familiar with the industry, they may not feel anything unusual because there is no difference when they first use it. But after a few months of use, various problems such as moisture, UV damage, oxidation, and oxidative fracture are prone to occur, which can easily lead to the entire LED unit board being scrapped. The legitimate display unit board uses double-sided full glass fiber PCB board, although the cost may be relatively higher, it is more secure for users' future use.
